We are recruiting experienced and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing 24-hour support for an adult with Cerebral Palsy and a Learning Disability in the Birmingham area. About the Role: This is a 2:1 LIVE IN complex care package requiring full assistance with hoisting and transfers, personal care, and daily living activities. The role does not include nursing care. The person you will support enjoys structure and independence and benefits from consistent, understanding staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred care and promote independence Support with all manual handling using hoists and other equipment Assist with personal care, meals, and daily routines Engage in meaningful activities and community access Maintain accurate records and follow care plans Shift Pattern: 2:1 support during the day 2 WEEKS ON 2 WEEKS OFF Requirements: Previous experience in complex care or similar support roles Confident using hoisting equipment (training can be provided) Reliable, patient, and professional approach Enhanced DBS check required Female staff preferred due to personal care requirements What We Offer: Competitive pay rates Paid training and induction Ongoing supervision and development opportunities Supportive team and management If you are a caring and proactive individual with experience in complex care, wed love to hear from you.
