Do you have experience of working in health, inclusion and/or disability, and feel passionate about how this intersects with Higher Education?
We have a great opportunity for a specialist Health and Inclusion Advisor to join our Health and Inclusion Team, based within the award-winning Student Wellbeing Service.
The Health and Inclusion Advisor role is part of a multi-disciplinary team based on campus in a busy student-facing setting. You will have specialist responsibility for coordinating support for students with disabilities and/or health challenges that impact their education and daily living. The role will focus on the delivery of specialist elements of inclusion, health and disability, and improving access to education for underrepresented groups, and you will ensure that access and participation is at the forefront of all work.
You will need to have a high level of interpersonal skills and be capable of making considered and rapid decisions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, maintaining accurate records at all times.
In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln and any currently engaged agency workers who have been with us for more than 12 weeks. We actively encourage applications from all colleagues across the University with the relevant skills and experience.
If you believe this is the role for you, we would love to hear from you. For an informal conversation or if you require further information about the post, please contact Carrie Green, Deputy Head of Student Wellbeing, at
