Job Description:
Equans is looking for a Security ARC Operator to join our team in the National Operations Centre Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week. The salary on offer is £26,070 per annum, along with a benefits package.
Shift Pattern: 24/7 shift pattern - 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off
Responsibilities:
* Managing site alarm activations, including CCTV verification, and facilitating appropriate escalation.
* Responding appropriately to requests through the Facilities Management Helpdesk and QSE Incident Reporting Hotline when required.

Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in a Control Room, Service Desk, or high call volume environment, or in a customer-focused role.
* Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above.
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
* Experience in incident management and command and control operations.
* Previous security or service desk experience, with training in fire safety and first aid preferred.
* Knowledge of CCTV and access control operations.
* Excellent communication skills, with high standards of written and spoken English, and ability to maintain accurate incident logs and gather evidential information.
* SIA license for Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV operations) or willingness to obtain it.
