We serve a variety of care settings for clients with individual needs, including support for people with learning difficulties, complex care needs, mental health issues, dementia, and elderly care.
Role: Homecare Worker
As a Homecare Worker, your role is to support clients holistically to promote their well-being and ensure they enjoy a high quality of life. Responsibilities include providing companionship, administering medication, assisting with nutritional needs, and delivering personal care in clients’ homes. You will also need to follow each client’s individual care plan.
What Nurseplus Offers
* Flexible shifts—full-time or part-time, days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum call length of 2 hours
* Pay rates from £13.45 to £21.29 per hour, paid weekly
* Free training aligned with the Care Certificate
* Ongoing support and development opportunities, including in-house courses and funded qualifications such as distance learning and NVQ Level 2 and 3
* Annual pay increases
* Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card, offering discounts online and in-store
Requirements for Homecare Workers
* You must be over 18 to apply
* Right to work in the UK
* A full UK driving license—full travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile
* Good command of English and effective communication skills
* An enhanced DBS check, which can be applied for upon registration (costs £45.40, refundable after a set period of employment)
