You must have a full and relevant level three qualification in childcare, proof of Maths and English certificates and be committed to working 40 hours a week- term time only. All holidays and appointments will need to be taken during the half term breaks.
Typical hours of work will be 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday. Once inducted into your role, you may be expected to be responsible for the locking down of the setting alongside collegues.
Child-Centered Practice:
Lead the planning and delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with EYFS and nursery goals
Ensure inclusive provision that supports diverse needs, sensory profiles, and individual learning journeys
Monitor and evaluate children's progress using digital tools (e.g., Tapestry), contributing to PLPs and SMART outcomes
Safeguarding & Compliance
Maintain accurate records, risk assessments, and incident logs
Uphold nursery policies including behavior, health & safety, and inclusion
Environment & Resources
Curate a visually engaging, sensory-friendly space that reflects children's interests and promotes independence
Ensure resources are well-maintained, purposeful, and linked to learning outcomes
Parent Partnerships
Build warm, transparent relationships with families, supporting settling-in and key person systems
Communicate effectively through handovers, digital updates, and parent meetings
Respond to feedback with empathy and professionalism
