DVSA plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards on the roads, conducting tests, and overseeing vehicle-related matters in the UK.
The Cloud Infrastructure Platform team designs, builds, and supports the infrastructure that provides services used by colleagues across the country, focusing on user experience, security, continuous improvement, and sustainability. We maintain and develop modern, cloud-hosted IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and other technologies that aid in modernising our estate.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Driving improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services based on business and user needs, ensuring maximum value from services.
* Driving automation throughout the core infrastructure estate, adopting modern approaches such as Infrastructure as Code where relevant.
* Maintaining core infrastructure services by identifying problems through analysis and proactively supporting resolution, including documenting causes and remedies.
* Identifying and implementing functional, performance, and quality improvements to the core infrastructure estate.
