Key Responsibilities
* Lead the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air source heat pumps, hot water cylinders, and thermal storage systems
* Carry out central heating installations and repairs across domestic and commercial sites in Coventry, Reading, Guildford, Oxford, and Cambridge
* Provide on-site technical and practical support to colleagues and apprentices
* Undertake fault diagnosis, system upgrades, and planned maintenance
* Ensure full compliance with PAS 2030, MCS, and Gas Safe standards
* Participate in overtime and call-out duties when required
* Maintain accurate job records and follow health and safety best practice
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in air source heat pump installation jobs within the UK housing or local authority sector
* Strong technical background in domestic and commercial heating systems
* Competence in fault finding, BMS controls, and unvented hot water systems
* Proficiency in a range of pipework installation methods
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Excellent understanding of current renewable energy legislation and health & safety standards
Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Domestic Plumbing (or City & Guilds equivalent)
* Level 3 Award in Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (C&G, BPEC, or LCL Awards)
* G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Certification
* Water Regulations Certificate
