Are you passionate about developing talent in the manufacturing sector? DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Trainer Assessor to deliver high-quality work-based learning programmes in Performing Manufacturing Operations (PMO), Lean, Business Improvement Techniques (BIT), and Warehouse Operations.
You’ll be working closely with employers across the region to ensure training meets industry needs, while supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
This is a fixed-term opportunity for a period of up to 12 months.
Essential Criteria
1. Level 3 qualification in Business Improvement Techniques (BIT)
2. Relevant industrial experience in manufacturing
3. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes
4. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing practices
5. Ability to motivate and inspire learners; computer literate
Key Responsibilities
6. Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning and assessment across PMO/BIT programmes
7. Support learners with guidance, reviews, and progression planning
8. Liaise with employers to tailor training to business needs
9. Ensure compliance with College, funding, and awarding body requirements
10. Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
