Multi-Skilled Engineer, Central Belt Scotland, £24.00 - £27.00 per hour, Immediate Start
Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across client sites
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive maintenance
* Working on plant machinery and general site equipment
* Maintaining metal and woodworking machinery (e.g. school workshop equipment)
* Servicing and repairing fume extraction systems
* Fault finding on drives and control systems
* Completing all works in line with safety standards and company procedures
* Updating job progress and reports via PDA system
* Supporting client operations and ensuring minimal downtime
* Maintaining a professional and organised approach across all sites
Requirements
* Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience working on plant machinery and associated systems
* Knowledge of drives, motors, and control systems
* Ability to carry out both PPM and reactive maintenance
* Full UK driving licence required
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients
* Relevant engineering qualifications (desirable but not essential)
