In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead the strategy and delivery of our Commercial and Quantity Surveying function on exciting projects. Your mission? To maximize service quality and project profitability while working within the framework set by our Director/Commercial Manager.

Key Details
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester - travel to the office required with remote working options available.
Hours: Permanent Full-time - some flexibility on hours available; just let us know your preferences!
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per year + annual car allowance + private healthcare + additional benefits.
Your Responsibilities
As our Project Commercial Manager, you’ll ensure compliance with all relevant company, group, and sector-specific procedures and policies, aligned with our Integrated Business Management System. Your daily tasks will include:
* Establishing the commercial strategy and framework for projects, while monitoring its effectiveness.
* Overseeing and managing all aspects of Subcontractor accounts.
* Compiling monthly applications for payment to clients and tracking certifications.
* Collaborating with project operational staff to ensure profitable and commercial aspects of site decisions are understood.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience delivering large-scale projects in the rail industry.
* Possess a solid understanding of contract conditions, particularly regarding obligations, valuations of variations, and payment/final accounts.
* Are familiar with the NEC suite of contracts.
* Have a proven track record of leading a team and fostering a collaborative culture.
