Salary: £95 - £100 per day
Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?
Here at SMART Teachers, we work with schools across South London offering permanent, temporary, and supply roles. We are recruiting for this coming September! This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher or recent graduate with a passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.
About the Role:
* Supporting children with a range of SEN including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language needs
* Working one-on-one or in small groups under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO
* Assisting with classroom activities, learning support, and behaviour management
* Helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
* Opportunities for CPD, training, and career progression ideal for an ECT!
We’re Looking For:
* An individual with a strong interest in SEN education
* Empathetic, patient, and positive attitude
* Ability to build strong relationships with children and staff
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
* Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable but not essential
Ideal for:
* Aspiring SEN Teachers or Educational Psychologists
* ECTs seeking valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment
