Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in precision engineering and CMM operation? Working within the Quality Department, you'll play a key role in maintaining inspection standards, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for first-off, in-process, and final inspection of machined components, as well as maintaining quality documentation. Your responsibilities as a Quality Inspector: Carry out first-off, patrol, and final inspections to ensure components meet engineering drawings. Operate and program CMM equipment (Mitutoyo experience advantageous). Ensure all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained. Record and analyse quality data, including internal and customer rejections. Support fault-finding activities and assist in developing preventative actions. Mentor junior staff on the correct use of inspection equipment and measurement techniques. Your current experience which will help you as a Quality Inspector: Proven experience in mechanical inspection within a precision engineering environment. Skilled in CMM programming and operation (training can be provided). Confident interpreting engineering drawings and using standard measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic production environment.
