What’s it all about?
As an Assistant Hotel Manager at Travelodge London Walthamstow, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating the hotel teams.
Your role will include:
1. Working with team members to create personal development plans for their career growth
2. Recruiting motivated team members and ensuring they have a warm and welcoming induction
3. Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standards (if working in a Bar Café hotel)
4. Maximising food and beverage sales through cross-selling and upselling (if applicable)
5. Reviewing customer feedback to develop targeted action plans for improvement
6. Ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned according to company best practices
7. Reporting and overseeing repairs or maintenance needs
8. Managing rotas, banking, and health & safety responsibilities
9. Driving awareness and engagement among team members to earn more through incentive schemes

Who will this appeal to?
You are friendly, engaging, and welcoming by nature, with previous experience leading a team in a service-oriented, customer-facing industry. Experience in food & beverage would be advantageous, especially for Bar Café hotels.
You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, responsible for delivering operational objectives through your team. Your communication style is straightforward, ensuring team members understand their roles in achieving the bigger picture.
You are results-focused and enjoy working towards KPIs and scorecard targets to ensure your hotel provides a trustworthy stay for customers.
