Job Description
This role involves managing US GAAP & STAT responsibilities for 1-2 entities within the region, including tasks such as accruals, local taxes, prepaids, trial balance review, and other entity-related requests. The main contact for internal and external audit processes for these entities is also a key responsibility.
Daily and monthly tasks for the Eastern region include managing inventory in transit, deferred revenue, control of specific Cost Centres & reclassifications, and control of specific P&L accounts. The role also involves preparing Blackline reconciliations and collaborating with external partners (E&Y, PWC) and internal partners (AP, Finance Business Partner Eastern Europe, Country Managers Eastern Europe, Corporate Tax Team, Order Processing Manager Eastern Europe). Additionally, the role supports ad hoc tasks and projects at local, European, and global levels.
Qualifications
* University degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent; additional accounting or tax qualifications are advantageous.
* 2-5 years of experience in an accounting position.
* Knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards, demonstrated in theory and practice.
* Experience in international and diverse environments.
* Experience working in a matrix organization with internal controls.
* SAP & Blackline experience is advantageous.

Travel Requirements
