Overview
Bank Clinical Support Worker - Theatres role at NHS Scotland. Band 3 £28,011 - £30,230 per annum, pro rata. Due to increased theatre sessions opportunities have arisen for the FVRH Theatre Team to expand their pool of Bank staff. Recent investment has enabled operating theatres to be expanded at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and for multiple new roles to be established to support patient, staff and services. Responsibilities
* Applications are invited from individuals who are capable of performing a range of technical and support duties within the operating theatre. This post is diverse but has limited patient contact.
* Provide support to a variety of healthcare team members within theatre, recovery and stores.
* Be a good communicator, flexible with regard to shift patterns and capable of becoming multi-skilled.
* Computer skills are advantageous.
* Be prepared to work in a department that provides 24 hour emergency cover as well as Day Surgery/Ambulatory care.
* Support the theatre team, recovery and stores as required.
Qualifications and requirements
* Previous theatre or acute healthcare experience is desirable.
* Essential that you are a good communicator, flexible with shift patterns and capable of becoming multi-skilled.
* PVG Scheme membership may be required (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
* Applicants should be motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about helping others.
