Are you an enthusiastic HLTA ready to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We’re looking for passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join weing schools across Northampton, supporting pupils to achieve their best.
As a Primary HLTA, you will:
1. Deliver whole-class lessons in the teacher’s absence, following pre-prepared plans
2. Support pupils in small groups and one-to-one, focusing on core subjects like English and Maths
3. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
4. Provide constructive feedback on pupil progress and contribute to assessments
5. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
What you'll need to succeed:
6. HLTA status or equivalent qualification
7. Previous experience working in a primary school setting
8. Strongmunication and behaviour management skills
9. A flexible, proactive approach and a passion for supporting young learners
