We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter inc Locksmith to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a Category B male prison.

As a Carpenter inc Locksmith, you will work alongside experienced colleagues such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry Of Justice business providing critical, time-sensitive services to HMPPS, seeking a Carpenter inc Locksmith with:
1. Substantiated experience in a similar role
2. Competency in using and operating associated power tools and machinery
3. Basic IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
4. Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
5. Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
6. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent, or substantial experience
7. Good health and safety knowledge
8. Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
