Team info: Working alongside an existing team of 16 Vets, you will benefit from plenty of clinical support, with an emphasis on collaboration and team ethos across all departments.
Facilities: The practices are well-equipped, featuring Digital X-ray at the two largest sites, Ultrasound at all primary branches (S6/S8 from IMV x 3), IM3 dental machines at all operating sites, Abaxis lab equipment at all sites, as well as Endoscopy, Multiparameter monitoring, Tonopen, Bair Hugger, and Ventilator.
Role: Our client seeks a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team based at the Hospital Practice and surrounding branches.
Duties: The team is friendly, appreciative, and supportive, seeking a candidate with shared values. The role involves consulting, case workup, and surgery.
Support: They actively promote professional development through training, accessible support, and clinical guidance. The team includes 16 RVNS, many with postgraduate qualifications, supported by dedicated reception staff with BVRA and Customer Service qualifications. They serve motivated clients and utilize a claim-direct facility to facilitate access to healthcare.
* Their standard rota offers a four-day workweek with 1:4 weekends.
* OOH coverage is Monday-Friday from 5 pm to midnight, with on-call till 8 am for in-patients only.
* The OOH rota is currently 1:9.
Salary: Depending on experience, £35,000 - £60,000, with potential for higher based on additional certificates/experience.
