We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Orthodontic Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team in Dentalcare Oxford Orthodontics. We want to help and support YOU in the next step of your career.
Working Hours:
* Full Time
* 40 hours per week over 5 days Monday – Saturday
* To start as soon as possible
The Role & Responsibilities:
* Assisting Clinicians including Orthodontists and Orthotherapists
* Monitoring day lists, preparing the lab work, checking appointment diary and daily activities.
* Preparing surgery for the start of the session and end of session with all the mandatory protocol.
* Preparing for all clinic with the instruments, materials and equipment needed.
* Following the protocol, rules and regulations at all times.
* Providing pre-and post-operative instructions for patients in agreement with the dental operator.
* Assisting the dental operator in making arrangements for appropriate follow up care.
* Maintaining hand pieces, aspirators and other equipment.
* Processing and mounting radiographs.
* Arranging for the timely supply of materials and laboratory work.
* Data entry and charting as per training
* As part of our nursing team, you will provide excellent chair side assistance whilst ensuring the highest levels of patient care and professionalism at all times.
* You will also be tasked to assist with Reception duties as / when required
About You:
* We are looking for a committed and hardworking individual to join our happy team and assist in our growth.
* An appropriate Dental Nurse qualification is essential
* Orthodontic Nursing experience is essential
* You must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* Orthotrac experience would be beneficial (although training can be provided)
