Job Purpose
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the school premises, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
* Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other high-contact surfaces
* Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and fittings
* Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety hazards
* Lock and secure areas of the building if required
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals

Key Skills & Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience
* MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK
* Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Basic understanding of health and safety practices
* Ability to follow instructions and work to a schedule
