Site MEICA / Commissioning Engineer Up to £30 per hour

Our client is a key player in the UK utilities sector, delivering capital infrastructure improvements across the South East. With a firm focus on modernising their operations and embracing innovation, they are expanding their engineering team. Due to continued project demands, they are looking for an experienced MEICA / Commissioning Engineer to join the team.
Up to £30 per hour (via umbrella)
Long-term contract opportunity (9 to 18 months)
THE MEICA / COMMISSIONING ENGINEER ROLE:
Working within the MEICA team, you will report to the Senior Site MEICA/Commissioning Engineer and ensure the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEICA elements on capital delivery projects. You'll play a key role in design review, commissioning, defect resolution, and liaising with internal stakeholders. The role is 100% site-based in Kent and will involve travel across the South East for various project phases.
MEICA / COMMISSIONING ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
HNC or Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience with MEICA-based installations and commissioning
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and VSDs
Familiarity with water utilities, plant and process equipment
Skilled in defect identification, document reviews, and technical reporting
Comfortable with site-based inspections, testing and handover processes
