Job Role: Engineering Stores CoordinatorClient: Global Category Leading Manufacturer Job Type: Permanent Monday - Friday Days, flexible on start / finish times, 40-hour weekSalary: £33 - 36k Target Contract: Permanent Location: Goole area easy access siteRole & Responsibilities - Engineering Stores CoordinatorReporting to the Site Engineering Manager and responsible for the Maintenance stores processes to enable delivery of the Business objectives against factory Key Performance IndicatorsLead the Engineering Stores and delivery against KPI’s which contribute to the Site delivery targetsYou will support our Engineering teams to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, work volume, inventory levels, and drive a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failureYou'll also work closely with the Engineering Planner to ensure that appropriate engineering spares and inventory is identified, catalogued and available to support asset reliabilityYou'll strive to maintain a safe, organised, cost-effective, and proactive stores facilityTo maintain a well-organized and safe engineering stores in support of minimizing equipment downtime and improving performanceTo achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s) with respect to stock value, accuracy, stock turns & consignment stockLead the Engineering Stores and establish processesDevelop the Engineering Stores capabilitiesAdhere to and implement robust stock management and controls, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to ensure the needs of the site are metTo proactively source alternative components, engineered parts and suppliers that can meet the technical standardsTo manage the complete end-to-end return of defective parts/non-conforming partsCheck deliveries and receipt of goods into the computer systemsTo update and maintain a computerized stocking system for all material movementsOrganise parts for specific maintenance tasksQualifications and Requirements – Engineering Stores CoordinatorWith 2-3 years’ experience in engineering or stores management environmentOpen to industry backgroundExperienced in systems for data inputGood level of literacy/numeracyElectrical and/or mechanical engineering experience is desirable.Experience of operating in a medium/large, automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards etc.Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)Experience of spares/stock management systemsAbility to identify key engineering equipment is an advantageExcellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to accurately complete calculationsComputer literate – Excel, Word, Outlook etcWhat we can offer – Engineering Stores Coordinatorcompetitive salaryA fast-paced and challenging work environmentWellbeing resources25 days holiday + bank holidaysGuaranteed Christmas holidaysHealth care cash planEmployee discount on productsLife assurance5% company matched pension scheme For more information on this awesome role, please contact (url removed) or on (phone number removed)Candidates who are currently a Stores Engineer, Engineering Storeman, Maintenance Stores Co-ordinator, Stores Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Stores person, Maintenance Co-ordinator and Engineering Stores Manager, Supply chain co-ordinator, and any equivalent background will be suitable for the role.Omega Resource Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
