Responsibilities and role details
We are looking for a highly-skilled Teacher who is passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full potential. As a Teacher in Fife you will be responsible for leading learning within your classroom context, promoting inclusion, diversity and equality, communicating with other stakeholders and for contributing to wider improvements across the school community.
Qualifications, registration and skills
* High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to work as a member of a team to ensure positive outcomes for all children and young people.
* Commitment to ongoing professional learning through career-long professional learning activity and the ability to show impact on practice.
* Full General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) registration. For primary posts: GTCS registration in primary. For secondary posts: GTCS registration in secondary for the specific subject.
* Model all behaviour expected of a Teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards.
* Full registration is required for all permanent posts; for temporary class Teacher posts, provisional GTCS registration in the relevant sector will be considered.
* GTCS registration in related subjects for teaching those subjects.
* Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
