Job Description:
Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager's HR team to recruit a Training and Competency Manager. This role involves overseeing the training and competency department, ensuring effective training programs, maintaining professional standards, and managing relationships with training bodies.
Responsibilities include:
* Implement and oversee the Training & Competency Scheme
* Support employees with necessary tools and training
* Ensure investment managers hold appropriate qualifications
* Manage CPD records and liaise with training bodies
* Coordinate in-house training, CPD events, exams, and courses
* Maintain regulatory and training records in the firm's systems
* Conduct annual competency assessments
* Handle regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening
* Assist with employee appraisals and new starter inductions
* Manage online training programs and provide management information
* Train team members to cover absences
* Undertake ad hoc projects as required
* Administer appraisal processes and compliance tracking
* Recruit and interview candidates
* Promote a coaching culture and design learning solutions
* Manage talent and workforce development strategies
* Stay updated on regulatory changes
* Maintain HRIS data accuracy
* Organize FCA training compliance and facilitate face-to-face training
Required skills and experience:
* Strong relationship management and influence skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Previous experience in a similar role
