Overview
Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day to day life. This role involves supporting young people through both high points and low points. Our team leaders enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well-rounded adults. There will be challenges, but also moments that feel like small victories.
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. Our team leaders are motivated by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people.
Responsibilities
You’ll support and care for our young people day to day, ensure things run smoothly and help create lasting memories. As a team leader you will also support the staff team and ensure the home operates to high standards, with the capacity to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers. You should be able to relate to and build relationships with young people. You should be compassionate, emotionally resilient and supportive, and provide leadership that inspires your colleagues.
