Trade Counter Manager Beeston, office-based Full time (including 2 in 4 Saturday mornings) 25k-30k D.O.E Permanent role Start date: ASAP Harper Recruitment Group is partnering with an independent trade supplier looking for a driven counter manager. We are seeking an ambitious and reliable individual who can go above and beyond for their customers. Your role will be vital in overseeing their service in branch. Key Responsibilities: Offering knowledge and bespoke advice for tradespeople and other clientele Having an excellent knowledge of product selection Producing quotes and ordering items Providing excellent customer service in person, over the phone and via email Raising purchase orders & using sage Handling payments General housekeeping of the branch, keeping it presentable Loading and unloading deliveries Picking customer orders Deliveries when required to cover holidays Skills and Experience: Strong I.T and computer skills - ideally sage, Microsoft packages and online ordering systems and design software An excellent telephone manner The ability to work in a small team Strong communication and interpersonal skills, liasing with both customers and suppliers An excellent attitude, with the ability to learn in detail about new products and software Full training will be provided but relevant experience is advantageous Additional information: This role is fully office-based. You will be required to work 2 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rotational basis on double your hourly rate. You must have a driving licence and be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
