As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for high-quality data analysis, insights, and reporting that support data-driven decision-making across Group 1 Automotive UK. The Data Analyst will play a key role in developing and delivering meaningful MI and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy from people systems and integrations. This role will also contribute to the continuous improvement of HR Shared Services processes, supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do Day To Day
1. Review and improve existing HR data reports for clarity, relevance, and alignment with business needs, addressing reporting gaps.
2. Develop and propose a comprehensive reporting suite for performance tracking and stakeholder self-service.
3. Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from various sources to produce dashboards, reports, and scorecards for leaders.
4. Monitor data integrity across HR systems, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
5. Oversee data flows and system integrations, investigate errors, and recommend improvements.
6. Build relationships with third-party data providers and system vendors for seamless data support.
7. Support the design and implementation of processes for MI and insight requests within HR.
8. Contribute to tracking SLAs for reporting deliverables, ensuring timely responses.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
* Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally in HR or corporate services.
* Strong skills with Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization/reporting tools.
* Experience with HR and payroll systems like Cintra is advantageous.
* High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
* Ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
* Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
* Experience working collaboratively and managing priorities.
* Mentoring or management experience is a plus but not essential.
