Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference? Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as a Harm Reduction Support Volunteer What You’ll Do: Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect. Support our team in delivering harm reduction interventions, including: Needle and Syringe Provision Naloxone training and distribution Dry Blood Spot Testing Provide non-judgmental advice on safer injecting, overdose prevention, and emergency response. Engage with service users to promote HIV and Hepatitis testing, safer sex practices, and treatment options. Work in the community to offer support, information, and safe disposal of injecting equipment. Help maintain stock and ensure accurate documentation using our case management system. Please note this role is suited to someone who can offer 2 or more days volunteering.
