Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Testing & Inspection Technicians
Oversee and perform the testing and commissioning of all control panels (in-house and on-site)
Coordinate and conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) activities
Liaise directly with clients to resolve technical queries and ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with Contracts Managers to align testing operations with project requirements and timelines
Conduct electrical fault-finding and ensure timely resolution of issues
Oversee NIC/EIC testing procedures
Uphold compliance with all ISO Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards
Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Provide regular reporting and documentation on testing activities
Essential Criteria
2395 or equivalent Testing & Inspection Certification
Significant hands-on experience in Testing & Inspection, preferably within the water, wastewater, or process engineering industries
Strong leadership capabilities with previous experience supervising or mentoring technical teams
Proficient in electrical fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Proficient with computer applications including Excel and database systems
High attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure
Full Driving licence
Exposure to ACC docs, BIM360 or similar platforms would be advantageous

TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Lead Technician to oversee our Testing & Inspection team.
As the Senior Lead Technician, you will take a hands-on leadership role in overseeing the testing, commissioning, and inspection of control panels both in-house and on-site. You will act as the technical authority for your team, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency across all testing operations.
