Technical skills we're looking for…
You don’t need to tick every box – we’re far more interested in your potential, mindset and approach to building great software.
1. solid experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering production-ready software and taking ownership of features from development through to release
2. client-side application development using React and React Native, with opportunities to gain exposure to C# .NET. Experience with these or similar modern JavaScript frameworks would be ideal
3. comfortable working with cloud-based platforms, with Azure experience a bonus
4. a strong approach to quality, including writing and maintaining unit tests using modern testing frameworks
5. good understanding of modern engineering practices, such as clean code, reusable components and sensible architectural patterns
6. knowledge of web technologies and APIs, with an appreciation for performance, security and reliability
7. a collaborative communicator, able to explain technical ideas clearly and work closely with product owners, designers and other stakeholders
8. experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery teams, contributing to stand-ups, refinement sessions and continuous improvement.
