Job Overview As a Trailers and Fencing Coordinator, you’ll combine customer service, administration, and yard support to keep the branch running smoothly. You’ll be the friendly face at the counter, making sure customers leave with exactly what they need, while also keeping admin processes accurate and supporting smooth yard operations. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers at the sales counter, always putting their needs first and ensuring a positive experience. Build strong, long-term relationships with trade and retail customers, earning their trust by consistently doing the right thing. Process orders, quotations, and invoices accurately using Microsoft Office and internal systems, showing attention to detail and a drive to be the best. Work closely with the yard team to make sure goods are picked, loaded, and dispatched correctly, ensuring customers get the right product at the right time. Take responsibility for keeping the yard to a high standard tidy, safe, and well organised with stock cared for, clearly labelled, and easily accessible. Keep branch admin records organised, ensuring efficiency and supporting future-focused ways of working. Help manage stock levels, check deliveries, and maintain product displays so customers can find what they need quickly and easily. Support with stock management by checking deliveries, rotating stock, and reporting shortages or damages, always doing the right thing to maintain accuracy. Help maintain product displays and stock presentation so customers can quickly find what they need. Follow all company processes and health & safety policies, looking out for both customers and colleagues. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a yard, trade counter, or construction supply environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with admin processes. Strong customer service skills, with clear and confident communication. Knowledge of trailers, fencing, or related products (desirable, but training provided). Forklift licence/ticket (desirable). Organised and detail-driven, with the ability to multitask in a busy branch environment.
