Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Transport Network First Line Manager to join the team on the ClickLink contract at Northampton. Supporting the Transport Network Manager this role acts as a central control point, bringing together coordination, compliance and analysis to keep operations running efficiently, cost effectively and in line with regulatory standards, all the while maintaining customer SLAs. A driving licence is essential as some travel to other sites is involved.
This role is full time, permanent position, working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off. Working hours 06:00 to 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Coordinate, monitor, and control transport compliance across all ClickLink network sites, ensuring operational and financial standards are consistently met
* Analyse daily, weekly, and period transport performance, identifying non compliance, risks, and improvement opportunities, and supporting action plans
* Produce accurate, insightful reports and presentations to support bi‑weekly depot reviews and network governance
* Track financial performance including revenue workstreams, PCNs, cross charges, and costs against budget and plan
* Manage and maintain accurate transport asset inventory, supporting audits, investigations, and loss prevention activity across the network
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience of transport management with strong analytical capability and the confidence to challenge data, investigate root causes, and drive improvements
* Excellent communication skills, able to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across a geographically dispersed network
* High attention to detail with strong Excel skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear insights
* A proactive, self‑motivated approach with flexibility to travel and adapt to changing operational demands
* Sound understanding of transport compliance, financial controls, and UK transport operations, with a strong commitment to safety and standards
