Committed to the inclusion of all our students, you will of course have excellent communication skills, and will have vision, expertise and commitment in the area of SEN. You will ideally have strong experience in multi-agency working and have a strong awareness of the relevant SEN legislation that underpins SEN within schools. You will lead on the outstanding teaching and achievement of students with SEND as well as leading the learning support assistant team to ensure high quality in-class support. You will promote inclusion of all students and their families within the academy community to ensure progress and meaningful access to the curriculum, facilities and enrichment activities. You will need to have excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our leadership team, supporting and liaising with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure identified student’s needs are met. The position will require vision, expertise, experience and commitment in the area of SEN.
