Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician role is to Service all fishing & remedial tools and related equipment. Service quality, job preparation, planning and safety are key priorities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Participates in tool-box meetings with all members of the maintenance team. Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintains all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation to Maintenance supervisor. Understand and produce high quality products from mechanical drawings provided. Inspect, support, modify, assemble, maintain, pressure testing and repair all mechanical aspects of our equipment including rapid fault finding, evaluation and diagnosing of problems that occur, in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains good housekeeping conditions in workshop. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 year experience in down hole tools preferably in Fishing and Remedial equipment. Minimum of 3 year experience in operating Break Out Machine (BOM). Must be able to work on their own initiative and read & understand technical drawings. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
