Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Master Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience within a franchised dealership (desirable)
* A proactive, solution-focused approach
* Full, valid UK driving licence
* A genuine passion for vehicles and continuous learning

We’re working with an award-winning, privately owned dealer group in the West Midlands that’s looking for an experienced Master Technician to join their modern, high-performing workshop in Bromsgrove.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with advanced vehicle technology, and delivering outstanding results.
About the Role
As a Master Technician, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, while supporting the wider workshop team with your expertise and knowledge.
You’ll spend the majority of your time in the workshop, working hands‑on with vehicles and ensuring every job is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out advanced diagnostics, analysis, and vehicle repairs
* Perform road tests to identify and resolve complex faults
* Complete Vehicle Health Checks accurately and thoroughly
* Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes
* Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
* Produce clear and accurate repair documentation (fault, cause, rectification)
* Support and mentor other technicians, sharing your knowledge
* Maintain workshop standards, tools, and equipment to a high level
* Adhere to all health, safety, and manufacturer guidelines
