About the Role
Are you ready to step into a dynamic role that puts service and efficiency at the heart of warehouse operations? We are seeking a talented Night Warehouse Team Leader to manage and inspire our night shift team. This role is crucial in driving high performance in our picking, loading, and dispatch functions.
What You'll Be Doing
Resource Management: Ensure the warehouse has adequate resources to meet daily operational needs.
Performance Analysis: Optimize costs and stock management by analysing performance and processes.
Team Leadership: Direct and mentor Team Leaders to achieve targets and maintain standards.
Operational Oversight: Manage night-to-night operations, change management, and continuous improvement.
Safety Promotion: Champion safe working behaviours and a “clean as you go” policy.
Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven experience in coaching first-line managers in an operational environment.
Skills: Strong PC skills, commercial awareness, and warehouse operations understanding.
Leadership: Ability to motivate and develop team capabilities. To problem solve under pressure and make informed decisions.
Qualifications: Good level of spoken English; GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) desirable.
