Senior finance business partner job opportunity in a growing manufacturing sector business Your new company Are you a commercially astute finance professional ready to make a strategic impact in a high-growth environment? Hays is proud to partner with a dynamic manufacturing organisation seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their expanding finance team. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to influence operational and financial outcomes across production, supply chain, and commercial functions. Your new role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll act as a trusted business partner, delivering high-quality financial insight and challenge to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability. With a strong focus on data-driven decision support, cost control, and strategic planning, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. Key responsibilities include: Providing timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making across operational teams Identifying cost drivers, production variances, and KPI trends to highlight risks and opportunities Leading product and customer profitability analysis to support margin improvement Partnering with department heads to translate financial data into actionable insights Supporting budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis Driving cost control initiatives across manufacturing and non-manufacturing overheads Developing dashboards and performance metrics to track and benchmark results Contributing to strategic projects including ERP upgrades, process automation, and M&A activity What you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role, ideally within a fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise Ability to extract, transform, and analyse complex datasets to deliver actionable insights Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels A proactive, resilient mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration What you'll get in return This is a high-impact role offering significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.
