Clinical Deputy Manager – Wendreth Court
Location: Wendreth Court, March, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (including some weekends when required and on-call duties)

Are you an experienced and compassionate nurse with a passion for delivering outstanding care to older people? Glenholme Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Wendreth Court.
About the Role:
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you'll work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the home. You'll lead the clinical and care team in delivering person-centred care that respects the dignity, independence, and individual choices of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff
* Oversee and maintain the highest standards in care planning and delivery
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Glenholme's quality standards
* Promote best practice in dementia care, palliative care, and medication management
* Support, mentor, and develop staff to reach their full potential
* Participate in staffing, rota planning, and operational oversight
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and professionals
* Deputise for the Home Manager as required
About You:
* NMC-registered nurse (RGN) – Essential
* Must hold an NVQ Level 3 – Essential
* Ideally hold or be working towards NVQ Level 5.
* Previous experience in a care home setting, ideally supporting older people with complex needs
* Experience of leading & managing a team within a health care setting and experience of delivering care
* Understanding of safeguarding adults at risk, health & safety requirements related to running a care home, and infection control
* Understanding of the regulations and legislation within the care profession
* Understanding of CQC, national minimum standard,s and key care principles
* Knowledge of dementia care, end-of-life support, and clinical governance
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* A warm, empathetic approach and a commitment to delivering person-centred care
* Organised, reliable, and passionate about maintaining high clinical standards
