Job Description: Lead Salesforce Developer at Cognizant

Our dedicated Salesforce practice leverages Salesforce products, design thinking, and CX expertise to create innovative digital experiences.
We are recruiting a Lead Developer to support multiple projects within a Scrum team, focusing on solution design, development, implementation, and post-implementation activities. The role involves ensuring adherence to client standards and Salesforce best practices, and enhancing the Contact Center Platform with Salesforce Service Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, and Amazon Connect.
The candidate must be SC Cleared or eligible for SC clearance (with at least 5 years of UK residency). The role operates in a hybrid model with day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support deployments using DevOps tools (Copado, Github, Salesforce DX, etc.)
* Conduct testing, code reviews, and maintain code quality
* Manage documentation and scheduling for code reviews
* Ensure development meets the Definition of Done and data change approvals
* Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs)
* Participate in estimation and planning sessions
* Maintain accurate Sprint Backlogs and track improvements
* Plan and manage release activities and deployments
* Perform thorough unit testing
* Monitor contact center metrics and handle production data securely
Required Experience:
* Knowledge of contact center metrics and monitoring
* Experience with DevOps processes
* Salesforce architecture and Service Cloud expertise
* Experience with Experience Cloud, Salesforce Classic, Lightning Web Components/Aura
* Amazon Connect experience
* Strong documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
* Excellent communication skills
* Leadership and coaching abilities for junior developers
* Collaboration skills with testers and team members
