We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering business-critical change initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and shape projects while contributing to broader programme and portfolio management practices.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of small to medium-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure
* Defining, documenting, and delivering projects aligned to business needs
* Developing and maintaining detailed project and quality plans
* Monitoring progress, costs, resources, and timelines, taking corrective action where needed
* Managing risks, issues, and change control processes effectively
* Producing accurate and timely reports for stakeholders
* Ensuring project deliverables are completed, approved, and signed off
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
* Lead, motivate, and support project teams to deliver high performance
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
* Act as a key point of contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment
* Address performance issues and ensure teams remain within agreed tolerances
Governance, PMO & Continuous Improvement
* Support and enhance portfolio, programme, and project management (P3M) frameworks
* Provide guidance on tools, methodologies, and best practices
* Contribute to project audits, reviews, and assurance activities
* Evaluate project performance and recommend improvements
* Support business case development, planning, and reporting processes
* Help establish and maintain configuration and project management systems
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
* Experience in risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes
* Experience working within or alongside a PMO environment is desirable
