Join our Practice Development Team and play a vital role in shaping professional education and development.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Practice Development Team, providing a high-quality, responsive and professional support service that enables the team – and the wider Professional and Commissioned Education (PCE) Team – to deliver their work effectively.
As the first point of contact, you will be the friendly and professional face of the team, confidently managing a wide range of internal and external enquiries. You’ll use your excellent communication and organisational skills to take detailed messages, liaise with colleagues, offer clear advice, and resolve queries wherever possible.
No two days will be the same. You’ll be trusted to work efficiently, handle information accurately, and ensure smooth communication across teams, helping to maintain high standards and positive working relationships.
If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, take pride in delivering an excellent service, and want to support the development of healthcare professionals, we’d love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the training and development programmes delivered by the Practice Development Team are run efficiently and to a consistently high standard, in a way that promotes a professional and welcoming ethos.
You will be required to provide high‑level support to the wider Professional and Commissioned Education team where required, including the setting up of technical teaching sessions, clinical skills training and supervision of new starters. The post holder will be highly motivated and able to work both independently and as part of the wider team.
You will assist the team to facilitate the co‑ordination of the learning experience of pre‑registered and newly registered healthcare professionals. The post holder is required to work collaboratively across the group to support the delivery of educational plans and the nursing strategy to ensure an ongoing effective service for clinical staff.
