The ICS Governance and Control Operations Team is responsible for enabling growth through implementation of an effective framework that drives efficiency, accountability, and a strong control environment. Through a collaborative partnership with Global Risk & Compliance, Product Management, Marketing, Global Banking, and Technologies, the Risk and Control team drives a robust first line of defence for ICS and advises our partners on how to effectively balance business growth objectives with appropriate controls. This framework consists of several core components, grouped into pillars, including governance, risk assessment, business, and environment internal control factors, and reporting and monitoring.

The ICS Business Conduct Team’s purpose is to empower sustainable growth by embedding ethics, risk insights, and resilient controls into every decision — so customers, colleagues, and shareholders trust we do business the right way. The IG&C Business Conduct Team purpose is to build a strong and resilient framework that provides clear standards and governance for all conduct risk related matters covered by AEMP88.

We are seeking a UK based Risk Manager to join our IG&C Business Conduct team to support us on our journey to uplift and evolve our Business Conduct framework across ICS international to enable business growth. This role will report to the Business Conduct Integrity Director where they will play a key part in developing and executing scalable capability solutions to enable ICS to monitor and mitigate conduct risk across the program.

How will you make an impact in this role?

* Execute and evolve the capability strategy and roadmap with a focus on integration, scalability, usability, and alignment with ICS Business Conduct strategic priorities.
* Serve as the primary liaison with Infosys to facilitate all technical dialogue to translate complex business requirements into capability solutions.
* Manage the ongoing & future program of work needed for capabilities by working with the Business Conduct team to understand project timelines & requirements, identifying project critical path and closely manage those activities.
* Identify and manage inter-team and external technical dependencies and manage prioritisation.
* Oversee release impacts and support testing activities before ‘go to market’
* Work within and across teams to track status of risks, issues and impediments to the project delivery and escalate accordingly
* Provide and consolidate inputs for leadership updates in addition to key decisions needed to support overall program delivery.
* Monitors and communicates progress of project delivery by cost, scope, schedule and including the assessment of risks/issues
* Support wider Business Conduct Team with projects and initiatives as required in alignment with business priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

* Proven Experience in large-scale implementation or transformation projects/programs
* Familiarity with agile delivery and testing/QA methodologies with a background in product/tech, risk control, or operational excellence.
* Experience with Rally/JIRA/Confluence
* Ability to work with Engineers, Product Managers and Vendors to achieve project goals
* Strong risk & control mindset with an aptitude to operate within a policy and process driven environment
* Comfortable navigating a complex, fast paced environment, often with strict deadlines, high degrees of ambiguity and Compliance / regulatory commitments
* Strong strategic thinker with the ability to bridge strategy and delivery by influencing technical and business teams
* Confident with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation - articulate point of view with a rationale and be able to defend it
* Ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a deadline-driven work environment
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in an environment with evolving business demands
* Excellent problem solving under pressure
* Delivery of impactful communications (clear, concise & meaningful - both written and oral) for multiple audiences / levels of seniority.
* Decisive Self-starter with high degree of autonomy and accountability, demonstrating an intense will-to-win. Confidence in decision-making in complex and ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests in a professional outcome-focused manner
* Degree of flexibility with time given the international remit of the role.
