Overview
The Senior Expert Transportation Management role is a key and influencing role within the NTT Data Digital Core Practice. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team responsible for the design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customer base and to meet our customer's needs. As a Senior Expert you will support customer engagements and perform delivery of the Transportation Management solutions working alongside Transportation Management Solution Architects, Project Managers and the Integration Team to deliver innovative and high quality solutions integrated with and embedded into core S4Hana solutions.
Support Transportation Management Solution Architect to work closely with customer and NTT Data sales and business development teams to assist in the translation of business requirements into a solution that takes advantage of the Transportation Management capabilities supporting the architecting of Transportation Management within the overall solution landscape. This will include collaboratively compiling statements of works to support any stage of the sales and deal review processes. Leads and coordinates integrated workshops with detail and complexity with Senior Stakeholders in the customer business.
• Provide thought leadership to NTT Data and its customers focused on Supply Chain strategy specifically in the Transportation Management solutions and the Transportation Management road map. • Act as the design authority on the projects ensuring the quality and integrity of Transportation Management solutions being implemented is aligned to industry best practice. • Adhere to the agreed NTT Data strategy, engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments to ensure NTT Data remains at the forefront of the market within which we operate. Share, use and communicate expert knowledge in order to develop others and make business processes more effective. • Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to end-to-end service offer by NTT Data and provide comprehensive input. Support NTT Data to grow our business by being alert to the customer opportunities that present themselves. • Have strength and depth in delivery and configuration expertise for the following: Freight Unit Building and Order/Booking Management; Manual and Optimizer Based Planning; Cockpit layout management; Tendering and Supplier assignment; Transportation Management Execution.
Experience and knowledge of both Embedded and standalone deployment options is required. Experience and knowledge of both Shipper and Third Party Logistics Provider scenarios is required. Experience and knowledge of pallet and load building, Event Management, PPF and Integration to EWM would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate workshops with Senior Stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for Transportation Management solutions.
* Collaborate with Transportation Management Solution Architects, Project Managers and the Integration Team to design and implement SAP Transportation Management solutions embedded in S4HANA.
* Assist in translating business requirements into solutions and develop Statements of Work to support sales and deal review processes.
* Act as design authority to ensure solution quality and alignment with industry best practices.
* Share expertise to develop others and improve business processes; stay current with technology trends.
* Identify opportunities for repeat or extended business across end-to-end service offers and contribute to business growth.
* Demonstrate delivery and configuration depth in areas including freight unit building, order/booking management, planning (manual and optimizer-based), cockpit layout management, tendering and supplier assignment, and transportation management execution.
Qualifications
* More than 6 years of professional experience in an SAP/Transportation Management consulting environment. Experience with a value-added reseller or software house is advantageous.
* Proven experience in solution design and architecture with successful delivery across more than 5 full project lifecycles.
* Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across local and global teams, customers, suppliers, and partners.
* Gravitas, integrity, and the ability to make solid decisions in complex environments. A results-driven mindset and the ability to inspire others.
* A thirst for learning and staying current with evolving technology; actively shares knowledge in a structured way.
Personal Profile / Experience
* Demonstrated ability to work in SAP/Transportation Management consulting with more than 6 years of experience. Experience in solution design, architecture, and successful delivery across multiple lifecycles.
* Experience with embedded and standalone deployment options and familiarity with Shipper and Third-Party Logistics Provider scenarios is preferred.
