An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader based at one of the following: Three Towns resource Centre, Lister Street, Kilmarnock Ailsa Hospital..
What you will do:
Highly motivated applicants are sought for this position. The role will be split between operational, managerial, leadership and clinical work in a variety of settings across the 24/7 period. You will be able to provide leadership and communication to support effective team working.
You will offer support and supervision to your individual team and be an integral part of the wider unscheduled care management team.
You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with wider teams and stake holders and be committed to delivering high quality, evidence based person centered care.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of home treatment which meets the needs of the service users of Ayrshire & Arran. They will provide leadership, management, support and supervision to a team of staff.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
RMN is essential, as is a full driving license. Experience in acute mental health nursing in the community and previous experience of working in a crisis service/home treatment team is desirable as is experience of working as part of a management team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work using their own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. They should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current mental health policies and mental health legislation. An interest in and experience of delivering training will also be desirable.
