Biology Teacher – Canterbury

Contract: Full time – September start
Salary: £162 - £223 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and dynamic biology lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Teach key biological concepts, from genetics to ecosystems, in an accessible and exciting way.
* Support students in developing their scientific skills for exams and future careers.
* Organise and lead practical experiments, fieldwork, and extracurricular science activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate biology into the wider STEM curriculum.
* Foster a love for science through interactive and inquiry-based learning.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Biology or a related subject.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Experience teaching biology in a secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the UK science curriculum and exam requirements.
* Ability to inspire students and cultivate a passion for biology.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
