Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of high-performance diesel engines and diesel engine components by identifying customer needs, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires technical knowledge of diesel engines and aftermarket performance parts.
This role is based at our Cambridge, Ohio location and is a fully onsite position, hybrid and remote applicants may also be considered.
Duties:
* Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls and live chat inquiries from potential and existing customers.
* Engage with customers to understand their needs, address queries, and guide them through D&J Precision Machine’s products, services, and active promotions.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate their value proposition.
* Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, preferences, and transactions using our CRM system.
* Guide customers through the sales process, providing detailed information, and assisting with the selection of the most suitable products/services.
* Assist customers with order placement, payment processing, and other transactional activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
* Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Experience:
* 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced administrative or customer service role preferred.
* General automotive knowledge, Cummins specific knowledge preferred.
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales or customer support.
* Previous experience with a Customer Relationship Management (C.R.M.) system preferred.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
