The Opportunity
Miller is seeking an Assistant to join the central Company Secretarial and Governance team in London, which supports group companies with governance and company secretarial activities. The role involves providing administrative and organizational support.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in preparing for meetings of group company Boards of Directors, governance forums, and committees, including creating meeting packs, liaising with report preparers, and reviewing papers. Familiarity with Diligent software is preferred.
2. Supporting the implementation of internal administrative processes and documentation to ensure departmental efficiency.
3. Maintaining statutory records of group companies at Companies House and overseas, assisting with formal processes, documentation, and filings.
4. Supporting governance framework maintenance, updating organizational charts, and assisting with regulatory applications.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Undergraduate education is preferred but not essential.
Experience in a similar role within Financial Services is advantageous.
