Design of advanced irrigation systems for cutting edge Agritech equipment and processBirmingham - Hybrid working basedc. £55,000 - £65,000 pa + enhanced company benefitsAre you a forward-thinking engineer ready to revolutionise sustainable agriculture?We're looking for an experienced Irrigation System Design Specialist to play a key role in designing cutting-edge irrigation systems for our clients' world leading and sustainable Agri-tech solutions. This is a design-led position where your technical expertise will directly influence the efficiency and productivity of controlled environment agriculture.What You'll Do:
* Create detailed 3D designs and schematics for high-performance irrigation systems
* Produce schematics, plans, elevations, and 3D models suitable for procurement and construction
* Optimise flow schedules to boost plant health and yields
* Integrate smart control systems and tackle water quality challenges
* Take concepts from the drawing board to real-world implementation
What You'll Bring:
* Solid experience in irrigation design (hydroponics, greenhouses, or industrial water systems)
* Mastery of AutoCAD Inventor or similar, and irrigation / water control systems
* Understanding of water treatment and system optimisation
* A creative, solutions-driven mindset and strong collaboration skills
* Hands on experience advantageous to enable the successful transition of design to reality, leading to full industrialisation of the solutions.
