Your new company Hays are partnering with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Procurement Accounts Payable Manager for a temporary contract until October 2026. Your new role In this role, you will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function and lead procurement operations, ensuring all purchasing activity aligns with internal policies and public sector regulations. You'll manage a small finance team, support budget holders across the organisation, and oversee the tendering and contract process. You'll also be responsible for maintaining procurement systems, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring audit compliance. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic oversight with day-to-day financial coordination.
