We’re looking for a Registered Manager to join our team at One to One Crisis Intervention. If you’re an experienced Deputy Manager seeking the next step or a current Registered Manager wanting a fresh challenge, this role is for you!

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you’ll lead one of our single-occupancy homes in Newton Abbot, ensuring outstanding care for the young person living there. You’ll be responsible for shaping and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while managing and developing a high-performing team.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be a strong, child-focused leader who understands how trauma impacts young people and can look beyond behaviours which challenge to address the root causes. You’ll be dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes for our young people, while also ensuring staff support, engagement, and development.
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Ability to create and implement detailed, high-quality care plans
Emotional resilience to handle behaviours which may challenge in a professional way
Excellent relationship-building with young people, staff, and external professionals
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Skilled in staff supervision, performance management, and mentoring
Committed to promoting the One to One brand and ethos
Requirements:
? Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
? Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people in the last 5 years – Essential
? At least 1 year’s supervisory experience (including Deputy Manager roles) – Essential
? Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations & Safeguarding Practices
? Full UK Driving Licence with business insurance
